Sometimes the best attractions are the best kept secrets.

Trevor Yacovone and Taylor Winebold recently celebrated two years of dating by winning a contest.

"I know, I never win anything," Winebold said.

They were chosen out of 70,000 people on Facebook for a one-night stay at Landoll's Mohican Castle in Loudonville.

"We really want them to connect with one another," Landoll's Assistan General Manager, Matthew Scruggs said. "Walk around the property, enjoy the nature, enjoy Loudonville, enjoy Mohican country and just really get to one another and back to the core of what brought them together as a couple."

Landoll's has 17 suites and no two are the same. In February, rooms start at $159.

Enjoy the fireplace, hot tub, and heated tile floors. You can also enjoy a couple's massage.

"For me, I'd say my favorite part was the massage," Yacovone said. "That 60-minute massage because it was my first massage."

If you're looking for something a little smaller, but just as romantic, take a two-hour drive south to Glenlaurel Scottish Inn and Cottages in Hocking County. It's where Judie and Rod Crane recently celebrated their marriage.

"We've been married 50 years," Judie said.

It's not their first time. In the last 20 years they've stayed at Glenlaurel 100 times. The 144-acre land with 20 accommodations offers spas, dinners, strawberries, wine and in-room dining. Right now rooms can be booked for $189.

"It's just a really good place to unplug as well as reconnect with your spouse and loved ones," Executive Chef, Tyler Toles, said.
