COLUMBUS, Ohio - Urban Meyer will hold the position of assistant athletic director at the Ohio State University, according to athletics director Gene Smith.

Smith told 10TV's Dom Tiberi nothing is locked down as to what Meyer will do.

Meyer announced this month he will retire from coaching after the Rose Bowl.

In a one-on-one interview with 10TV's Dom Tiberi earlier this week, Meyer said he will also be co-teaching a character and leadership course at Fisher College of Business at Ohio State.

Ryan Day, current co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, will assume head coaching duties following the Rose Bowl matchup between Ohio State and Washington.
