COLUMBUS -- It is a certainty that Franklin County Sheriff's deputy Jacob Heaberlin has had no shortage of visitors to his hospital room since being shot in the line of duty Saturday.

Wednesday, though, might have been something a little more special.

Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer stopped by to visit, and share his well-wishes with Heaberlin as he recovers at Grant Medical Center.

Heaberlin was shot in his abdomen, just below his protective vest, after he pulled over a suspect who opened fire.
