Upper Arlington H.S. to hold classes on Thursday

UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio -- Upper Arlington High School canceled classes on Wednesday after an unknown odor was noticed in the building.

A message posted to the district's Facebook page just before 10:30 a.m. notified parents that students were being dismissed early.

"Canceling classes will give safety officials the time they need to investigate the source of the unknown odor in our school," the statement read.

Upper Arlington schools began their 2017-18 Academic year last Wednesday.

The district said it has been advised by safety officials and environmental firms that it is safe to hold classes in the school on Thursday.
