TSA finds loaded gun at John Glenn Columbus International Airport

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A loaded gun was discovered by officials at the John Glenn International Airport on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the Transportation Security Association tells 10TV at approximately 4 p.m., TSA officers at the airport discovered a Smith and Wesson loaded with six rounds of ammunition.

TSA notified local law enforcement, who then removed the firearm and passenger from the checkpoint.

There have been 26 firearms detected this year at the airport, according to TSA.
