Trick-or-Treat forecast in central Ohio: Scattered showers, above average temps

Halloween is here and the weather ghosts and goblins could make your trick-or-treating a little scarier tonight.

Rain has been approaching through Wednesday morning and is expected to arrive in the afternoon.

The good news is that right now the forecast models have shifted a little when it comes to the timing of the rainfall. Right now, it looks like there could be a little break in the rain heading through the evening before picking back up during the overnight hours.

So here’s how the forecast looks in Columbus as of Wednesday late morning: scattered showers will be possible around 5 p.m. decreasing in coverage through the 7 p.m. timeframe. By 8 p.m., more rain starts to approach and rain will be more widespread in Columbus sometime after 9 or 10 p.m.

While Columbus and areas north appear to get a little break in the rain in the mid-evening areas south of the city may not be as lucky. As always, keep it tuned to 10TV on-air and online for any forecast updates throughout the day.
