Three snow removal vehicles were destroyed during a fire at a public service building in Grove City Saturday morning.

The fire was at the Public Service Center, in the 3200 block of Ventura Boulevard.

According to the Grove City service director, the fire started in one of the barns where trucks are stored, and three city trucks were destroyed. He said, however, the city will be able to make do.

Neighbors in the area said they heard loud booms according to a 10TV news crew on the scene.

The service director, however, said no chemicals are stored in the garage save for smaller fuel cans.

The Ohio Department of Transportation will allow Grove City to borrow several trucks while it replaces the ones that were destroyed.
