Teenager hurt after shots fired into home in east Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Police are investigating a shooting that left a 15-year-old boy with injuries.

Officers were dispatched to the 15-hundred block of Simpson Drive on Monday evening. They found a male juvenile with a gunshot wound.

The teen told officers he was inside a home when someone fired multiple shots. One of the bullets hit the 15-year-old boy in the arm.

He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
