Taylor Swift beats out Trump for 'most influential' person on Twitter in 2018

According to social media analysis company Brandwatch, Taylor Swift is the most influential person on Twitter these days.

Brandwatch scores Twitter users on a range of metrics, but mostly how much engagement their tweets create.

Despite tweeting only 13 times in 2018, Swift scored the highest – 98 out of a possible 100 points.

Former One Direction member Liam Payne came in second with 97 points.

Several big named tied for third on the list with 96 points including President Donald Trump, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Kim Kardashian West.
