Talking Weather | May 20, 2019

Even though the week is starting out cool that’s not going to be the case for long.

As high pressure moves in Monday skies have had a chance to clear out and because we’re on the “front side” of the high our winds are out of the northwest which is why it’s so much cooler and drier than it was this weekend.

That high will drift off to the east and southeast and we’ll get the “return flow” which means winds will take a more southerly bend. That means more heat & humidity.

Doppler 10 Meteorologist Jeff Booth has more on what days this week flirt with 90 and why you might not like what’s coming with the warm-up in this week’s “Talking Weather”.
