Sticking to your resolutions: Simple and healthy pancake recipe

We have passed the point where many people have given up on their New Year's resolution.

Kate Kanner, a dietitian with The Little Clinic, shares with us some advice on keeping those resolution and a new idea for making breakfast healthier.

Blender Whole Grain Yogurt Pancakes

Ingredients
Makes 12 pancakes
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup white whole wheat flour
- 2 Tbsp flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups Activia Vanilla Nonfat Greek yogurt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp agave nectar
- 2 Tbsp canola oil

Maple syrup, fresh fruit, and additional yogurt for serving

Directions
1. Combine dry ingredients in a blender and pulse blend for 30 seconds. Add yogurt, eggs, agave, and oil, then, continue to blend until smooth. Let pancake batter stand to thicken for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat large non-stick skillet over medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Working in batches, ladle batter in ¼ cup portions into skillet. Cook until bubbles begin to form on top, about 2 minutes. Flip pancakes and cook until under side is golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Repeat with remaining batter, adding more nonstick spray to skillet if needed. Serve with maple syrup and fresh fruit.
