COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State football head coach was honored by being named the "Big Ten Coach of the Decade" by the Big Ten Network.
When reflecting on his time at Ohio State, Meyer says he owes a lot to the 2012 team for getting the program to where it is today.
After the sanctions placed on the team in 2011, Meyer came in 2012 and led the Buckeyes to an undefeated season.
Meyer admits that he did not expect that to happen and wants to do something more to help commemorate the 2012 team.
"We have the best football program in America" Meyer says. He says that wouldn't have been possible without the 2012 team.
