Ohio State junior running back Ezekiel Elliott has been cited for driving with a suspended license after an accident this past weekend.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday on 315 at Lane Ave.
The accident happened when Elliott was traveling to meet with the rest of his Buckeye teammates before leaving for the Fiesta Bowl when he hydroplaned and hit another vehicle.
Elliott was alone in the vehicle.
There was one minor reported injury at the scene but no one was taken to the hospital.
Elliott was cited for no operator’s license, failure to control and driving under suspension.
Ohio State athletics have not released any statement on the incident.
