All dogs have been adopted at a Kansas City shelter thanks to Kansas City Chiefs' defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi.

Following the Chiefs' 31-20 Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers, Nnadi decided to celebrate by giving back to his community.

So, he payed for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project.

In update Thursday, the KC Pet Project said because of the sponsorship, the kennels at their Petco Adoption Center were empty.

The KC Pet Project says it has partnered with the Chiefs defensive tackle and the Derrick Nnadi Foundation all season long, and that "he couldn't have thought of a better ending."

On Saturday, the organization recognized Nnadi with a celebration and the unveiling of a sizable contribution.
