The defending champions of The Basketball Tournament, Carmen's Crew, were eliminated from this year's field after losing Wednesday to House of 'Paign, 76-68.
Carmen's Crew, made up mostly of Ohio State alumni, was this year's No. 1 seed after winning the title in 2019.
David Lighty led Carmen's Crew with 21 points.
Mike Daum led all scorers with 23 points to lead House of 'Paign.
“Give [House of Paign] a ton of credit,” Aaron Craft said. “They played great. They stayed with it. That’s a great team.”
The Basketball Tournament continues at Nationwide Arena through July 14.
