The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Alexandre Texier on injured reserve.
The team says Texier is out indefinitely with a lumbar stress fracture.
The injury was suffered in Tuesday's game against Florida.
This season, Texier has six goals and seven assists.
The Blue Jackets are back on the ice Thursday night at Boston.
