Blue Jackets center Boone Jenner undergoes surgery for broken finger

The club says the surgery was successful and Jenner is expected to miss approximately six weeks.

The Columbus Blue Jackets announced center Boone Jenner underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a broken finger.

The club says the surgery was successful and Jenner is expected to miss approximately six weeks.

The injury happened late in Tuesday’s game against Tampa Bay.

Jenner, who has played in all 41 games for Columbus this season, has recorded eight goals and nine assists.
