Shots Fired Inside Parking Garage

Police were searching for the man suspected of shooting another man inside a parking garage Sunday morning.

A fight started on the third floor of the garage, located on 11th Avenue near the Ohio State University campus, at about 2:30 a.m., 10TV News reported.

Nevin Cousin, 25, was shot in the neck. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, 10TV News reported.

"It's very tough, we had to get enough officers here to lock it down," said Columbus police Sgt. Dana Norman. "There are a lot of entrances to the parking garage. People want to leave and they don't understand why they can't leave, so that's why there's so many officers here."

Following the shooting, police did not allow anyone parked above the third floor to leave the garage. Detectives were also checking every vehicle before it left.

A warrant was issued for Ricardo Conley, 27. He faces one charge of felonious assault, 10TV News reported.
