Police Searching For Man Who Robbed Market At Gunpoint

Columbus police were searching for a man who robbed a northeast Columbus market at gunpoint.

It happened Wednesday around 10:30 a.m. at the YBB Market at 2900 Westerville Road.

The clerk told officers a man in his 20's walked up to the register, pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

The clerk handed over the cash and the victim took off running.

Surveillance video shows the suspect to be around 6' tall, skinny, wearing a grey hooded sweat shirt and blue sweat pants.

Anyone with information about the suspect are asked to call the Columbus Police Robbery Unit at 645-4559.
