Police search for burglar who used garage door opener to break into home

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are searching for a suspect that burglarized a home in west Columbus.

On April 21, 2018, just before 5:45 a.m., the suspect entered a home on Highcreek Drive.

The suspect was able to get inside by removing the remote control to the garage door from the victim’s unlocked car that was parked in the driveway, according to investigators.

Police said once inside the home, the suspect stole numerous items.
