Police search for armed home invasion suspects in northeast Columbus

COLUMBUS -- The Columbus Division of Police needs help to identify armed robbery suspects that left one man critically injured in northeast Columbus.

Patrol officers responded August 4, 2018, around 12:30 a.m to an apartment on Palmer Park Circle West on what appeared to be a home invasion.

Eric Manias had just returned to his first-floor apartment when he attempted to unlock his front door, two male black suspects rushed Manias from behind and forced him into his apartment at gunpoint, according to investigators. Once inside, the suspects demanded Manias’ valuables.

Police say during the robbery Eric Manias was shot two times. He was taken to Grant Hospital in critical condition.

The suspects then fled the scene and police say one suspect was wearing a red hoody and one was wearing white clothes.
