COLUMBUS, Ohio (10TV) -- Columbus Police are searching for three people accused of posing as pawn shop customers to rob someone.

Police say Thursday afternoon, three men walked into the Big Bucks Pawn Shop on East Livingston Avenue carrying weedeaters.

Police say they walked around, posing as customers, with one suspect even attempting to see if the access panel behind a glass gun display counter was locked.

After one customer left the store, police claim the suspects followed him outside into the parking lot, abandoning the weedeaters in the store.

Police say one suspect then pulled a gun out of his satchel and held the victim at gunpoint in order to rob him.
