Police need help identifying man linked to multiple bank robberies in Columbus

Columbus Police are asking for help to identify a man that robbed two Columbus banks this week.

The first incident happened on Thursday September 15th at PNC Bank at 1435 W. Broad Street.

According to police, the suspect handed the bank teller a note that implied he had a hand gun and left on foot with cash.

The second robbery took place Friday afternoon at the Huntington Bank located at 3464 N. High Street.

Police say the suspect again gave the teller a note demanding money and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a light skin male, in his 40’s, 6’0 tall and approximately 175lbs. He is bald with a thin gray beard. Detectives believe the same suspect was involved in both robberies.
