Police: Man killed, woman injured in North Linden shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A man is dead and a woman is injured after a shooting in the North Linden area of Columbus, according to Columbus police.

Police said officers were dispatched to a crash in the area of Loretta Avenue and Bremen Street just before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

When police arrived, they found a man and a woman inside a vehicle that struck a utility pole. Both had gunshot wounds.

The male victim, 29-year-old Christopher A. R. Santiago, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

Police said multiple shell casings were found and ShotSpotter identified multiple gunshots in the area.
