Police: Man dies from injuries following shooting in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (10TV) -- Columbus Police say a 26-year-old man has died several days after a shooting in southeast Columbus.

Police say it happened around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25 in the 2200 block of Winslow Drive.

Police say a 26-year-old man was shot multiple times in the abdomen and was immediately taken to a hospital for surgery. The man, identified by police as Timothy Joiner Jr., succumbed to his injuries Tuesday afternoon.
