Police looking for suspect after man shot several times outside Hocking County diner

HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio - Police are investigating after a man was shot several times outside a diner in Logan.

The Logan Police Department says around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, Hocking County 911 received a call from a woman saying her boyfriend had been shot multiple times by a man in a white four-door vehicle.

According to police, the shooting happened at the entrance of the Hocking Hills Diner, near the intersection of Hocking Drive and Maysville-Williams Road. The suspect then drove away towards US 33.

The victim was able to drive his vehicle to the Logan Police Department, while his girlfriend remained on the phone with the 911 dispatcher.

When the man arrived at the police station, he received help from emergency crews. The man was taken to Hocking Valley Community Hospital for treatment.
