Police looking for answers in 2014 south Columbus shooting deaths

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are looking for answers to help solve a homicide case from 2014.

On Jan. 9, 2014, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Harland Drive after hearing reports of multiple victims who had been shot.

As officers pulled up to the scene, they saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road.

Inside the vehicle were two shooting victims, Javon Starghill and Jeremy Head, and a teenage girl with gunshot wounds across the street.

Head was pronounced dead at the scene and Starghill was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The teen survived her injuries.

Witnesses say they saw two men approach the parked vehicle and fire their handguns into the car before fleeing the scene.
