Police locate missing 4-year-old Marion boy; mother arrested

Investigators believe four-year-old Wesley William Clark was taken by his mother, Mary Popovich (Marion Police)

Marion police have canceled a missing endangered child advisory issued for 4-year-old Wesley William Clark.

Authorities say the boy was found safe with his mother, 27-year-old Mary Popovich, Friday morning in Marion.

Popovich was charged with drug abuse and child endangering. She was taken to the Multi County Jail.

Marion County Children Services were contacted and assisted with placing the child with the father.

The advisory was issued early Friday morning after concerns the boy could be in danger.
