Police Investigate Multiple Reports Of Man Exposing Himself In Grandview Heights


Police in Grandview Heights say there have been at least three reported cases of a man exposing himself over the last month.

“It seems to be happening near bar closing time. They're walking home from these establishments, and they’re being surprised by this individual,” says Officer Ryan Starns, Grandview Police Department.

The first incident was on June 2 around 2:15 a.m. A fully nude man was observed running from a property on Northwest Blvd between Burrell and Williams avenues.

The second case was on June 20 between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Two females reported a man dressed in dark clothing exposed himself on West Third Avenue at Cambridge Blvd.

“He like followed us, and we're just freaked out and want to make sure he's just found and caught or something’, said a frantic caller who called 911.

The latest incident was on July 7 around 2:45 a.m. A victim said a fully nude man ran up behind her and lifted her skirt. He fled through a residential area.

“There was a guy who’s naked and he's grabbing girls, and I was by myself,” said a distraught caller who called police.

In two of the cases, the suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s or 30s with sandy blonde hair.

Residents are urged to walk in groups and keep a phone with them to report any suspicious activity.
