COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police have identified the man shot in a fatal shooting that happened in South Linden Friday night.

Police say one person was shot shortly after 10:00 p.m. in the 1000 block of Rosewind Drive.

Kevin Constant, Jr, 26 was found lying on the sidewalk in front of his residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to police.

Constant was taken to Grant Medical Center and later pronounced dead at 11:32 p.m.

Authorities do not have any suspect information at this time.
