Reynoldsburg police are searching for two thieves who defrauded Best Buy out of nearly $10,000 using fake licenses.

On May 28, police say an unidentified man walked into the Best Buy on Taylor Road in Reynoldsburg and applied for a store credit card. The perpetrator altered the photo and matched the license information with that of a valid driver.

The suspect went on to buy cell phones, drones, a television and PlayStation 4, totaling more than $3,500.

A day later, a woman who claimed her name was ‘Rafika Dsouza’ applied for a Best Buy credit card with an Ohio license and bought the similar items worth $4,664 at the same Taylor Road store.

Both suspects were seen leaving the store in a rented beige Chrysler Town and Country minivan with the Florida license plate EVGT54.

Anyone with information on these two is asked to contact Reynoldsburg police at 614-322-6917.
