Police: 2 men injured following drive-by shooting in northeast Columbus


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police are investigating after two men were shot in broad daylight in a northeast Columbus neighborhood on Friday.

According to Columbus police, at around 3:50 p.m., the 20-year-old victims were traveling on Leatherwood Drive and stopped at the stop sign at Walnut Creek Drive when they were shot by an unknown individual in a passing vehicle.

The victims fled the area after being struck and flagged down police in the area od East Hudson street and Howey Road.

Police say both victims were treated on scene by paramedics and refused transport to the hospital.
