OSHP looking for man following crash involving reported stolen car in south Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking for a man following a crash involving a reported stolen vehicle in south Columbus on Monday,

OSHP said a trooper attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation when the driver drove away.

The trooper stopped pursuing the car, which was later found crashed at the intersection of Frebis Avenue and Lockbourne Road around 6:30 a.m., according to OSHP.

OSHP said Columbus police had taken a report the car was stolen.

OSHP said a man and a woman with a child who were in the reported stolen car left the crash scene.

The woman and child were found nearby.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash.

There are no reported injuries and troopers were not involved in the crash.
