One In Custody Following Pursuit That Ended In Troopers Crashing

One person was in custody on Thursday evening following a pursuit involving the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The pursuit ended in a crash on Polaris Parkway and Antares Avenue at about 5:40 p.m., 10TV News reported.

The crash involved two trooper vehicles, 10TV News reported.

According to police, a trooper tried to stop a vehicle when the driver, later identified as George McKnight, took off. The chase ended near Gladshire Boulevard and Crossing Place just off of Old State Road.

One trooper was taken to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators said that McKnight did not have a driver's license, 10TV News reported.

McKnight was taken to the Delaware County Jail.
