A report says an inmate caught drinking at the Ohio governor's residence had six beers near the end of his work detail and likely got them from a kitchen refrigerator.

The report by the Ohio State Highway Patrol also says the inmate offered a cup of liquor and soda pop to a second inmate in the kitchen, 10 Investigates' Paul Aker reported.

The report, released Tuesday, also said the inmate who drank the beers appeared normal most of the day but was acting oddly and yelling by the end. The report said a patrol investigator who tried to speak with the inmate at a prison infirmary found the man so intoxicated he was slumped over, slurring his speech and had vomited.
