The Ohio State Highway Patrol is launching a program aimed at cutting down semi truck crashes and crime.
Road Watch 100 begins Wednesday, and is focused on reducing the number of commercial vehicle related crashes to fewer than 100 by 2020.
OSHP is teaming up with local law enforcement to keep an eye on truck drivers.
They will also be working with the trucking industry to help educate future commercial drivers to reduce traffic and cut out on criminal incidents. Part of this education is teaching truck drivers to recognize the signs of human trafficking, so they can help stop crimes.
