A Franklin County grand jury has indicted a central Ohio man for providing heroin that nearly killed two users.

26-year-old Anthony Reitan faces 11 counts, including drug trafficking, felonious assault and illegal manufacture of drugs.

According to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, Reitan sold the deadly combination of heroin and fentanyl inside a capsule to his girlfriend, 32-year-old Katherine Blissenbach, and Joshua Fluck, 27 in January.

After the $15 buy, both Blissenbach and Fluck drove to a Speedway gas station in southeast Columbus to inject the drug and immediately overdosed.

A passerby then called 911 after seeing the couple using heroin.  Medics arrived on scene and were able to save the two.

Reitan now faces more than 25 years in prison.
