A Columbus State Community College professor was fired on Wednesday after a student accused him ofasking her on a date.
Mike A. Crider began teaching as an adjunct math professor at the community college in 2004,10TV News reported.
The student filed a complaint against Crider last week.
The college conducted an investigation into the complaints and said their findings "didn'tlive up to the standards set at CSCC," 10TV News reported.
Crider, a former high school teacher, lost his teaching license in 2002 after pleading guiltyto inappropriately touching a 15-year-old who was babysitting at his home.
