Police said that they located a 16-year-old girl and her infant daughter on Monday.
According to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Dannielle Owens was last seen in Newark at her Foster home at 3 a.m. Sunday, when she took a taxi to Columbus with her then 10-day-old daughter.
According to police, Owens disabled an alarm system at her Foster home, wrote down her Foster parent's credit card numbers, stole her Foster parent's cell phone and took the baby from its bassinette.
Owens was dropped off at a home the 40 block of South Terrace Avenue in Columbus, where she ran from the cab driver without paying, the AG’s Office stated in a release Sunday evening.
Police said that they located the girl and the baby at the South Terrace Avenue home on Monday morning.
Owens was believed to be with an 11-year-old boy named Austin Neff, who also was in the Foster care system. Police did not find Neff at the home when they located Owens.
Neff was found less an hour later at a relative's house.
Owens was due in court on Monday to talk about custody arrangements with her baby.
According to Franklin County Children Services, the three children were placed in seperate Foster homes.
