Yost Labs, located in Portsmouth, makes a unique virtual reality suit that tracks a player's motion.
The suit tracks your entire body's rotation in real time with the help of 19 sensors.
"From the time the sensor senses motion to the time it winds up on the PC, we're somewhere between 5 milliseconds," Paul Yost said. "[That's] faster than your eye sees something and your brain can perceive it."
Yost Labs employs 15 people, most of which are from Shawnee State University. The school ranks in the top 20 in the US for gaming simulation.
Every part of the suit is made at Yost Labs. The company has sold 1,500 suits since 2014.
"What we're doing on our roadmap is making virtual reality more human," Yost said.
