Menards no longer allowing people under 16, pets in stores due to outbreak

Menards says it is no longer able to children under 16 or pets in their stores as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Menards says it is no longer able to allow children under 16 or pets in their stores as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The company posted the message on its website, saying anyone looking to be under 16 will be asked to show ID. Service dogs are still welcome.

Menards also announced changes to its hours of operation in Ohio, which is Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Special shopping hours dedicated to senior citizens are from 6-7 a.m. Monday-Saturday and Sunday from 8-9 a.m.
