A woman and her daughter were killed in an east Columbus car crash Friday night.
Tanya Knipp and three passengers were traveling eastbound on Refugee Road near Winchester Pike around 11 p.m.
Another driver was headed westbound on the same road when he drifted left into the oncoming lane, hitting 32-year-old Knipp's car head-on.
Tanya Knipp and her daughter, 16-year-old Tessa Knipp, were pronounced dead at the scene.
36-year-old Rodney Knipp and 18-year-old Malik Benjamin were also riding with Knipp. They, along with the other driver, were all taken to Grant Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
