Milestone Reached On I-71/670 Columbus Crossroads Project

ODOT reached a major milestone on the Columbus Crossroads Project. Get the story.

ODOT says they will reach a major milestone on the I-71/670 Columbus Crossroads Project by Monday, November 11th.

All southbound highway movements will be open.

ODOT says many of these ramps have been closed or completely rebuilt over the last two years.

Over the weekend, there will be major work on I-71 south, which means a number of closures will go into effect starting Friday night.

At 8:00 p.m. Friday, the ramp from I-670 west to I-71 south will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to State Route 315 south to I-71 south.

At 9:00 p.m., the ramp from I-670 east to I-71 south will be closed. Traffic will be detoured on I-670 east to Leonard Avenue to I-670 west to State Route 315 south to I-71 south. Also at 9:00 p.m., I-71 south will be reduced to one lane and the ramp from 11th Avenue to I-71 south will close.

At 10:00 p.m., I-71 south traffic will be detoured to I-670 west to State Route 315 south to I-71 south.

By 5:00 a.m. Monday, the ramps will be open.

Starting Monday morning at 5:00 a.m., there will be new routes for motorists traveling through I-71/670.

The ramp from 5th Avenue to I-71 south will be open. This ramp has been closed for the last two years.

The new ramp from Cleveland Avenue to I-670 east and I-71 north and south will be open. The new ramp from I-71 south to Spring Street will be open and the new ramp from I-670 west to Spring Street will be open.
