Man Cleared In House Fire That Killed Daughter

The State Fire Marshal says a man has been cleared in the investigation of a fire that killed his young daughter in 2006.

The state Fire Marshal's Office said Friday that man whose 8-year-old daughter died in a 2006house fire has been officially cleared in the investigation.

Donald Branham was considered a person of interest in a blaze that killed his daughter,Mackenzie Branham, on April 26, 2006.

Firefighters determined that the fire was intentionally set.

Investigators are still searching for the person responsible for the blaze.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to the state fire marshal, or theFayette County Sheriff.
