If you have ever stopped for breakfast at Bob Evans in Canal Winchester, you’ve probably been greeted by Pat Hartman, who celebrated her 90th birthday on Monday.

“My birthday celebration has been going on for two weeks and I’m ready for this to end,” she laughs.

After retiring from The Franklin County Health Department in the 1990’s, Hartman decided she wanted to go back to work.   “One morning I went out to eat with my son and decided that I wanted to work at this Bob Evans,” explained Hartman.  “The manager looked at my application and hired me. He jokingly asked if I could start that day.  I said I couldn’t because I had plans, but I told him I could start the next day."

“Sometimes I work the weekends if they really need me,” Hartman told 10TV. “I love it. I love the people; I love the work. I love the people that I work with and it is  a mutual agreement between all of us at Bob Evans."

And Hartman has no plans of clocking out anytime soon: “I plan on working here until I’m 100-years-old -- if I can,” smiled Hartman.
