Vehicle crashes into Taft's Brewpourium near downtown Columbus

Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter confirmed to 10TV that no one was injured.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police are investigating after a vehicle drove through the front entrance of a bar near downtown Columbus Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to Taft's Brewpourium Columbus, located at 440 W Broad St., at 1:16 p.m. after a tan Buick drove through the building.

A firefighter with the Columbus Division of Fire said the driver told them their brakes locked up before then crashed into the building. No one was pinned or trapped, police say. 

According to police, three cars were involved in the incident and there were no major injuries reported but one person was taken to a hospital.
