Reward offered for information in homicide from 2018

On Thursday, June 28, at approximately 11:28 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police responded to the 300 block of South Oakley Avenue on a report of a shooting.

COLUMBUS-- Police are searching for answers in a homicide case from 2018.

On Thursday, June 28, at approximately 11:28 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police responded to the 300 block of South Oakley Avenue on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived they found Ernesto Merida Argueta at the back of a house suffering from gunshot wounds.

Argueta was transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital and was pronounced dead at 11:45 p.m.
