COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two suspects are in custody and charged with murder in a January homicide.
Police arrested 24-year-old Daniel Ratliff on Wednesday and charged in the death of 29-year-old Christopher Santiago.
According to Columbus police, they were called to the area of Loretta Avenue on the morning of January 15 for a car that crashed into a utility pole.
When officers got on scene, they saw Santiago and 39-year-old Shaulette Drain in the car suffering from gunshot wounds.
Santiago was pronounced dead at the scene and Drain was transported in stable condition.
Drain was arrested on July 28 and charged with murder in connection to Santiago's death.
The homicide remains under investigation.
