COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man has been arrested after Columbus police said he robbed a bank in the Short North on Monday.
Police said 23-year-old Tony Black of Columbus walked into the Chase Bank in the 600 block of North High Street just before 5 p.m.
Police said he passed a note to the teller and ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.
He went to a nearby business trying to blend in, police said.
Police searched the area and recognized him as he left the business.
Officers took him into custody and charged him with robbery, which is a third-degree felony.
