Ohio receives waivers for schools to serve meals during closure

According to Gov. DeWine, schools will able to provide every child under 18 with “grab and go” meals for breakfast and lunch programs.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Gov. Mike DeWine has announced the United States Department of Agriculture has approved two of Ohio's wavier requests to serve meals while schools are closed.

According to Gov. DeWine, schools will able to provide every child under 18 with “grab and go” meals for breakfast and lunch programs.

On Thursday, Gov. DeWine announced he would be closing all K-12 schools in the state for three weeks beginning Tuesday, March 17.
